Author’s Note on Reader Reviews

OK. So anyone could have written these, including
me. The full names aren’t there; in fact, some have no name at all. But I swear to you on the life of Pico, the cat that’s been trying to murder me for the last two plus years, that I didn’t write any of
these.
I may sometimes be selective in what I present
from a review, but I never invent them. (Oh, and why should you believe me when I swear on the damned cat’s life? Um. Hmm. Because... um...oh ;yeah! Because no matter how murderous that little
bastard may be, I still lov...lo...accept that...he’s a...part my life. No matter how tempted I am to teach him how to fly from my third floor apartment window. Yeah, that’s it.)

Douglas Adams, meet Phillip K. Dick
Definitely an interesting read! Sitting here
trying to figure out how to convey what it was like, I mostly think of a fusion of two writers - Douglas Adams for the voice/ humor (which there's lots of), and Phillip K Dick for the unreal realities
and sci-fi slant.
It has a slightly dark and twisted feel, with
strong multidimensional characterizations that are truly refreshingly unpredictable!
And believe it or not...this is a satire. With
humor!

"Biff Mitchell has a quirky, delightful sense
of humor attested to by the larger than life characters in The War Bug. Mr Mitchell's words leap from the page, grab you by the throat and waltz you through this hilarious and poignant sci-fi adventure.
An irreverent and bizarre look at the future, computer technology, the Internet and Artificial Intelligence." - Dana
