About Murder by Burger

Imagine a world ruled by crime and crazy people, where police forces around the world fight an uphill battle with barely enough cops to go around and not nearly enough funds to compete with the bad guys. Police recruitment is a joke. Nobody wants to be a cop in a world where crime and craziness are easier to get into and the payoff is a hell of a lot more attractive. Law and order lose ground in a desperate swim up the pipes of a toilet that never stops flushing.

This is the world of Boston Jonson, the greatest Consultative Investigator of them all.

But when murder strikes in the headquarters of a sprawling fast-food empire built on cloned junk food, will a mystery that stretches into the bowels of the earth swallow him and his beautiful protégé?

Missed Your Chance to Get Murdered!

The auction’s over. I have a murder victim. But something very strange happened, something. Seems that one mystery has led to another.

I don’t have all the details yet, but as soon as the plot unfolds a little more, I’ll post this incredibly strange turn of events.

Here’s what the winning bidder is getting:

- inclusion in the acknowledgements at the end of the novel
- an autographed copy of the novel with personalized message
- notoriety and free publicity on this site and future press releases about the auction

Fate has extended the auction! I was in violation of eBay bidding practices. I had a link to my web site. I had a link to one of my books for sale. I listed my publishers past and present. I was a bad boy. In a bold move to prevent a massive imbalance in world commerce that could very well have brought global financial institutions to their knees, not to mention Ricky and Judy’s Kool Aid stand down the street, the ever vigilant guardians of fair commerce at eBay cut the auction short, stomped it, and scattered its digital remains to all points of the international bandwidth.

So I reposted the auction. All nice and legal and pro-eBay policies, rules and formats.

I also dropped the reserve price and started the bidding off at less than the last bid in the first auction. And now you have until October 18 to bid. Good luck and thanks!
